What's the day-to-day of your role like?
As head of Group Security, my day involves implementing strategies to mitigate potential risks, coordinating with teams, staying updated on the latest security technologies and trends, reviewing the security dashboard, and attending to security queries from our Service Delivery teams. It’s a mix of reactive measures to security incidents and investigations and proactive planning to ensure the protection of our customers’ assets at our premises throughout the globe.
Why did you join TES?
Years ago, I was a customer of TES and engaged their services for security audits and assessments. During this time, I had the opportunity to familiarize myself with Terence and the ethos of TES. I was particularly impressed by Terence's dedication to both business and people and found myself contemplating a departure from my previous company. In a candid conversation with Terence, he mentioned an open position in security. Intrigued, I went through several rounds of interviews, first with Gary and later with Navis, ultimately securing my role at TES. It's worth noting that the entire process adhered to proper channels with no shortcuts taken.
Tell us an interesting fact about you.
I am a passionate music enthusiast, both a singer, and musician. Music holds a special place in my heart, and I thoroughly enjoy expressing my creativity through playing the guitar and piano. On the professional side, I have a unique background as a trained policeman with a specialization in hostage and rescue operations, having received training from Israeli commandos. Additionally, I excel as a crime scene investigator, delving into the intricacies of solving complex cases. The contrast between my musical pursuits and law enforcement expertise adds a diverse and dynamic dimension to my life.
What is your favorite film?
I have a deep appreciation for action movies, particularly those from my early days, such as the iconic James Bond series featuring legendary actors like Roger Moore, Sean Connery, Pierce Brosnan, and Daniel Craig. Among them, Daniel Craig's performances in films like 'Casino Royale,' 'Skyfall,' 'Spectre,' and 'No Time to Die' hold a special place in my heart. I thoroughly enjoy the adrenaline-pumping excitement of these movies—they truly captivate me!
What is your favorite saying?

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?
If I had the chance, I would love to visit Iceland to witness the Northern Lights, also known as the Aurora Borealis. I've seen my friends share incredible photos on Facebook, showcasing the mesmerizing colors of green, pink, red, blue, and violet that light up the high-latitude skies. It's a natural wonder I would consider truly breathtaking, and I hope to be lucky enough to experience it firsthand.
What do you like to do to unwind?
I love cleaning and polishing my car as a hobby. It's not just a good workout; it also teaches me patience and gives me a great feeling of accomplishment when I see my car shining bright and clean.
What's the most unique aspect of working in TES?
Working here is unique because of the diverse and supportive people, as well as effective management. I get to collaborate with individuals from different cultures and backgrounds across various countries. The senior leadership team is especially supportive, providing empowerment and independence to help us achieve our goals.
What does it mean to you to work for an organization that is sustaining tomorrow?
It signifies actively contributing to initiatives that prioritize lasting solutions for a better future and the well-being of future generations. It involves being part of a larger team that places high value on innovation, environmental stewardship, social impact, and ethical practices.
