Group Director - Value Recovery
What I do
I am responsible for developing the TES Group Value Recovery and Remarketing Strategy across the range of products we service for our clients and providing group-level leadership to our diverse team of VR professionals involved in product management, bid desk, and sales and marketing activities.

How did you get to work for TES?
I joined TES in late 2012 after being headhunted by Mr. Gary Steele (CEO), with who I had worked briefly in the UK before we both emigrated to NZ and AU. Stepping out of Ingram Mirco IT Distribution into Tes ANZ was quite the change, but I saw the opportunity from my first visit to Tes Sydney and jumped at the chance to work with Alvin Piadasa and his team.

My ancestor invented an early form of the bicycle.
What is your favorite film?
Up. I just love Dug the talking dog.
What is your favorite saying?
Hands are for shaking, not tying.
What do you like about working for TES?
The multicultural team of people I get to work with, the opportunity and support to grow as an individual, and the difference we are genuinely trying to make to manage retired electronic assets better for our World.
What does it mean to you to work for an organization which is sustaining tomorrow?
I’m a Gen Xer, so I grew up watching Great British TV shows like Tomorrows World (Contemporary Science & Technology) and the legendary naturalist Sir David Attenborough who showed us the magical wonders of our Life On Earth. Like many other Gen X kids, the sparks of interest crackled from an early age, Technology, Nature, Travel and Adventure. Now, most Gen Xers have Gen Zers of our own, and we must find better solutions for tomorrow's World which will sustain the Life On Earth we still know so little about. To be able to do that in our personal lives is one thing; to be able to make a bigger impact professionally is another. Join a company like TES and make a more significant impact.
