SINGAPORE – June 20th, 2018 – TES today announced that it has reached a definitive agreement to acquire VSL, a leading provider of IT deployment services in the UK and mainland Europe. The acquisition supports TES’s vision to deliver integrated IT lifecycle solutions and helping their clients manage the complexities/risks that are inherent in them. The combination will help accelerate growth and overall client engagement via 33 sites across 20 countries, providing an owned/operated geographic platform that is unmatched in this space.
“VSL has a loyal client base that has been earned by delivering outstanding service,” said Steve Graham, TES Europe GM. “We have enjoyed a long-standing business relationship and see the business and leadership team as a natural fit for TES. I am confident this acquisition will further our ability to deliver outstanding value to our clients.”
Jed Thurlow, VSL MD, said, “TES is already a market leader in the services they provide today and the addition of VSL supports the vision of bringing their clients a more connected lifecycle experience. We’re excited to be a part of the TES team; we believe that there is tremendous synergy we can provide as a part of the services portfolio in Europe.”
TES is backed by Navis Capital Partners, one of southeast Asia’s largest private equity companies with over US$5 billion under management. Jean-Christophe Marti, Senior Partner at Navis, commented: “The market is clearly demanding more seamless IT lifecycle solutions and companies want to use a small number of partners to deliver those solutions. Deployment services are a critical part of that lifecycle and a natural extension of TES’s suite of services. This is another step in the realization of our foundational strategy to build a global circular economy leader around the TES platform.”
