To Our Valued Customers, Partners, And Friends,

TES is committed to keeping you up to date on what we are seeing and doing during the Covid-19 pandemic. We continue to update you directly where we are seeing service level restrictions/limitations based on government mandates. As countries are adjusting their own guidance and orders, we continue to receive clarity about the definition of “Essential Work” and will provide up to date details on any impacts and risks associated with changes.

Keeping our team healthy and safe is a focus area for TES as I am sure it is the same for your organization. To that end, we continue to have all non-warehouse based employees to work from home, are doing daily temperature screenings, have locked down all travel, have increased the frequency/scope of janitorial services (i.e., increased cleaning of high touched areas and increased deep cleaning of common areas), and have implemented rapid response protocols in the event of a confirmed Covid-19 case at our sites. More specifically in our warehouses, we have reconfigured workstations to comply with social distancing guidelines and split shifts to limit workforce contact.

While our immediate focus has been on employee health/safety and supporting your organization, we also realize that it is more important than ever to do what we can to support the communities we are privileged to operate in. We continue to be inspired by the activities driven by TES local leadership to help those impacted by Covid-19. Here are just a few examples:

 

  • Indonesia
    • Engineers from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) have developed a non-invasive ventilator prototype that is now being tested by the Ministry of Health. TES Indonesia is providing partial funding for this prototype which is expected to be ready for production in 1 to 2 months.
    • TES Indonesia recently organized a food drive where we delivered groceries to 300 families in need.
  • USA – TES has donated funds to food banks in Atlanta, Georgia, and Fredericksburg, Virginia as food shortages in stores and unemployment have put pressure on food banks around the USA.
  • United Kingdom – TES donated iPads to a Covid-19 unit at Wolverhampton New Cross Hospital in the UK to enable patients to communicate with their family and friends.
  • Singapore – TES donated several laptops to a school that needed them for disadvantaged students so they could continue their classes at home after schools were closed.

 

You will continue to hear from us when there are additional updates of course. TES will continue to work closely with our customers and stakeholders as the Covid-19 situation progresses. We understand that these are difficult times with a degree of uncertainty, we will get through them together,
